What to expect
Mahmya in Arabic means” protected area” and it is a testament to the careful management of this idyllic island.
Start by sailing over the Red Sea's turquoise waters towards the island, located in the protected Giftun Island National Park near Hurghada. Enjoy the warmth of the sun on your back as you sail over, then disembark to pick up your snorkelling gear and recline under the thatched sunshades. Once you have landed on the island, you are free to snorkel on the impressive coral heads, scattered in the clear lagoon. Have a walk along the sandy beach or just relax on the pure white beach.
Enjoy a buffet lunch that includes a special kids' menu for the little ones, there's more time to unwind or take a dip in the water before heading back to Hurghada in the late afternoon.

Know in advance:
- Infants below 2 years can join for free
- This tour includes pickup from your accommodation in Hurghada. Please indicate your accommodation name and location during checkout
- The tour is available in several languages. If the minimum number of participants is not reached or the relevant languages are not available, an English-speaking guide will be the alternative
